The concert season featuring some of the world’s, regional, and local most renowned performers, organized by SKYMUSIC, kicks off with a performance by the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, scheduled for October 12th.
This is a dynamic and versatile ensemble that performs a wide range of music styles and genres across Britain and worldwide. Their repertoire includes film music, video game music, musicals, symphonic arrangements of classic rock and pop songs, as well as new works and traditional classical repertoire. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra frequently performs at the Royal Albert Hall, where they have premiered many pieces from films such as The English Patient, Skyfall, and the Bollywood hit Baahubali – The Beginning. This season, the orchestra will premiere Wonder Woman, as well as music from the Harry Potter series and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Their UK tour was one of the most notable, featuring the music of Roy Orbison using the artist’s hologram, and they also performed at the London Coliseum with a hologram of Maria Callas. Additionally, in 2023, the orchestra embarked on their fourth national tour with Elvis In Concert, accompanying the King of Rock and Roll on stage and screen. Recently, they have performed with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, as well as concerts with José Carreras, Anna Netrebko, and West End stars such as Kerry Ellis, Alfie Boe, and Ruthie Henshall.
