Amira Medunjanin, a globally recognized artist acclaimed for her performances of Sevdalinka and traditional music from our region, will hold a concert on November 23rd in the grand Blue Hall of the Sava Center in Belgrade, organized by the promotion company Long Play.

Known as the Balkan Billie Holiday, she returns to the Serbian capital three years after the triple spectacle she delivered at the MTS Arena in November 2021. The love between Amira Medunjanin and Belgrade has been affirmed for years, always performing to a full house wherever she appears. She has received applause from sold-out audiences at Sava Center on five occasions before its reconstruction began. Medunjanin now returns to the regionally prestigious, renovated hall after five years.

“I love the tradition of Belgrade concerts. Every time I’m in Belgrade, it feels like home. I have many good friends here,” the esteemed interpreter often emphasizes.

Amira Medunjanin unfailingly evokes a flood of emotions at every concert, performing timeless, genre-diverse songs such as “Moj dilbere,” “Ah, što ćemo ljubav kriti,” “Eleno kerko,” “Mito bekrijo,” “Što te nema,” and even “Ako znaš bilo što” from Azra’s repertoire, as well as the specially written “Pjevat’ ćemo šta nam srce zna.” The richness of Amira’s voice and the intertwining of emotions are captured on albums such as “Rosa” (2005), “Amira Live” (2009), “Zumra” (2010), “Amulette” (2011), “Silk and Stone” (2014), “Damar” (2016), “Ascending” (2018), and “For Him And Her” (2020).
