The Balkan War is the second part of the film saga that began with Impure Blood. The film follows historical events from 1900 to the beginning of World War I in 1914, through a turbulent period of uprisings and military conflicts in the Balkans, portraying the personal and national struggles of the main characters as they face a major historical change.
