European Presidents Meeting in Sava Center

During October 10 and 11, Sava Center became the center of European gastronomy. Presidents of culinary associations and the most eminent chefs from as many as 32 countries gathered in the facility, on European Congress of Presidents of Culinary Associations.

During two days, the capital of Serbia turned into a center of culinary innovation, exchange of knowledge and promotion of the region's authentic gastronomic identity. In an imposing environment Sava Center, numerous workshops, panel discussions and a gala dinner were held to mark this prestigious event.

Sava Center has proven to be a place that combines top organization, quality and technical excellence with a recognizable hospitality standard. Congress participants had the opportunity to enjoy a carefully designed menu prepared in the Sava Center kitchen, which stood out for its creativity in approach and modern interpretations of local flavors. In this way, the space itself became part of the culinary experience that marked this event. 

Sava Center is especially proud of its culinary team, which sets new standards every day in the preparation of food for the most demanding events. Our chefs, driven by passion and many years of experience, are known for combining authentic Serbian ingredients with modern preparation techniques.

At the gala dinner that rounded off the congress, the presidents Russian Culinary Federation, Croatian Culinary Association i Associations of Georgia presented awards to the chef of the Sava Center and the president of the Culinary Federation of Serbia, Zoran Mišković, for an exceptional contribution to the development of gastronomy and the strengthening of international friendly ties.

She led the organization of the event Culinary Federation of Serbia, with support Culinary Associations of Serbia, Association of Chefs of Serbia, as well as partners from Junior Chef Club i Food Vision organizations.

The congress aimed to present Belgrade and Serbia as a destination that uniquely connects rich tradition and contemporary culinary trends. Precisely thanks to such events, our country occupies an increasingly important place in the world cultural and gastronomic map of Europe.

The European Congress of Presidents of Culinary Associations once again confirmed that Serbian cuisine plays a key role in modern European cuisine - and the fact that Sava Center and Belgrade hosted this important gathering makes that honor even greater.
