The Center for Security Policy is pleased to announce its flagship high-profile conference, the Belgrade Security Conference (BSC), titled "In Defense of Humanity," to be held November 18-20, 2024, at the Sava Center in Belgrade, Serbia.
For the third year in a row, this event will bring together prominent world leaders, decision makers from Serbia and the Western Balkans, diplomats, representatives of international organizations, experts from research centers, journalists, academics, young leaders and other influential thinkers dedicated to shaping the present and leading to a better future.
Could the 2024 election change the world order as we know it? Will the elections pave the way for the establishment of a new, less democratic world order and herald an era marked by conflict and increased polarization? Will the transatlantic partnership survive this challenge? As Ukraine enters its third year of devastating war, will it be able to withstand and reverse Russian pressures on the front or will war weariness prevail, forcing Kiev to the negotiating table? What is needed to achieve a lasting ceasefire in Gaza? Does EU enlargement by 2030 remain a realistic goal? What would further changes in the geopolitical balance of power bring to the Western Balkans? These are some of the complex issues that will be discussed in more than fifteen panels.
BSC 2024 will address all these pressing issues, encouraging open and honest discussion, bold and lucid ideas, as well as innovative and unconventional solutions.
