This year, 'Charolija' celebrates its 18th birthday!

The "Magic" project is a children's music festival founded back in 2006.
The largest children's music festival was founded by Leontina Vukomanović, who is also the festival's artistic director and producer Saša Mirković.
The idea of the children's music festival "Charolija" is to bring back the rich tradition of Serbian creators for children - the lyrics of Ljubivoj Ršumović and Branko Ćopić, Jove Jovanović Zmaj, Raša Popov, Sloba Stanišić and many others, which has slowly faded in recent years, and that with this act big names like theirs are not forgotten. Through careful selection of content and selection of compositions, the desire and goal of the "Magic" project is to awaken in children a sense of friendship, companionship, social responsibility and care for others, care for the environment and the development of a healthy competitive spirit.
In order to preserve and promote the development of children's music in Serbia, the idea is to perform the original compositions of our currently most recognized authors of Serbian pop and rock music at the festival.
Under the artistic supervision of the composer and lyricist Leontina Vukomanović, the compositions that the children perform at the festival are selected.
Choir Charolija is the first choice of parents who want to teach their children to nurture culture and tradition, but also good manners, as well as mutual respect and acceptance of differences. He became recognizable thanks to his performances at major children's competitions and events, as well as numerous television shows. Through the values it fosters, this choir gives children the opportunity to express themselves through music, make lifelong friendships, and develop self-confidence that will accompany them even when they grow up.
On behalf of each of the 18 years that the Children's Festival "Charolija" and the choir have existed, a large coming-of-age celebration is organized in Sava Center on December 22, starting at 17 p.m. As "Charolija" is a children's temple of culture, all "Charolijanas" who want to come celebrate this great jubilee together!
