Alessandro Safina became interested in music as a child. His parents were ardent fans of opera and tried to pass this passion on to their son. At the age of 17, he entered the conservatory in Florence, and a few years later he was a soloist in the best music theaters in Europe. First prize at the Katia Ricciarelli International Vocal Competition in 1989. Active stage work and leading roles in the operas "La Boheme", "The Barber of Seville", "Elixir of Love", "Sirena" and "Eugene Onegin" followed.
UNIQUE VOICE, NATURAL CHARM AND CREATIVE COURAGE
Safin's unique voice, natural charm and creative courage have made him world famous. Performing opera arias, he dreamed of making classical art comprehensible to the common listener. As a result, a new genre was born, which the artist himself would later call "opera rock" - a style that combined elements of pop music, academic vocals, soul and musicals.
Safina achieved great success in the Netherlands when he participated in The Night Of The Proms concert. The single "Luna" from the album "Insieme a te" remained at the top of the Dutch charts for 14 weeks. The album itself was released in more than 30 countries, became gold in Brazil and Taiwan and four times platinum in the Netherlands itself. After that, Alessandro gave the world amazing duets with Sarah Brightman, Elton John and Juan McGregor, Barbara Hendrix, Sumi Cho and other artists. In addition to her singing career, Safina acts in films and participates in the recording of soundtracks (for example, "Moulin Rouge!" by Baz Luhrmann).
Now the famous tenor performs on the best stages of the world - in Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Brazil, Canada, Korea, USA, France, Holland and other countries.
