The breath-taking adaptation of the classic French novel Le Petit Prince will be presented in Belgrade's Sava Center from February 20 to 22, 2025 , in its exclusive premiere on the occasion of the book's 80th birthday.
The Little Prince is an innovative theatrical spectacle that takes place live on stage and comes to the Sava Center's Blue Hall after sold-out seasons in Paris, Dubai, Sydney, Budapest, Prague and the last successful season on Broadway in New York.
Based on the beloved children's book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1945 Gallimard edition), the highly immersive, magnificent play brings to life the cosmic world of an aviator lost in the desert who meets the Little Prince, who has flown from one planet to another in search of a sheep. The omnipresent narrator follows the Little Prince on his journey as he meets many majestic characters who interact harmoniously through dance, gestures and movement.
80 years after its publication, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry remains one of the best-selling and most translated books of all time. Translated into over 593 languages and dialects, it has sold around 200 million copies worldwide.
The award-winning creative team of The Little Prince is led by director and choreographer Anne Tournier, with adaptation and direction by Chris Muron, with original music by Terry Truk, choreography assistant Noelle Bordelet, video design by Marie Jumelin, costume design by Peggy Housset, lighting design by Stefan Fritsch, sound design by Tristan Viskologis, video projections by Etienne Bauchart, hair and makeup by Carmen Arbues Miro and props by Aurelio Gandilhon.
