In 1885, the peerless cook Evgenia works for the famous gourmet Dodin. During the 20 years of their acquaintance, gastronomic practice and mutual admiration grew into a romantic relationship. Their connection creates dishes, one tastier than the other, that confuse even the most famous chefs in the world. But Evgenia loves her freedom and never wanted to marry Dodin. So he decides to do something he's never done before: cook for her.
