Ana Đurić Konstrakta, one of the biggest music stars from this area and our representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, has announced the first big independent concert in Belgrade. Together with the band Zemlja Gruva, she will be one of the first artists to perform in the reconstructed Blue Hall of the Sava Center on Thursday, September 19.
"I wanted to do a Belgrade concert even after Eurovision, but here I am only two years late. You can say that I was waiting for Sava Center to open so we could do a concert," said Ana Đurić Konstrakt.
Konstructa, a songwriter and musician, attracted a lot of attention from the world public with the song "In Corpore Sano", with which she represented Serbia at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. This track was a huge global success; through its theme, it united people from the most diverse walks of life and regions in support of Konstrakta's performance at this music competition, which brought her a high, fifth place. She was awarded the Marcel Bezansson Award, the official Eurovision award given for the best artistic performance, and in addition she won two more competition awards - for the best text and for the most innovative stage performance.
With the number "Novo, bolje" and their repeat performance at the domestic Eurovision song contest / PZE2024, Konstrakt established the concept of an episode on the Eurovision platform with the indication that they will release new episodes every two years.
After the great popularity of the hit "In Corpore Sano", which was released as part of Triptych, another notable single followed - "Evo, projemjem", again in the form of an omnibus, consisting of three parts. The triptych and its theme drew the attention of critics in our region, while with the frequent citation of the song "Here, I promise" it became clear that Konstructa deals with current social issues through his songs.
And in the collaborations it establishes, Konstructa still insists on the existence of a topic it recognizes as significant and current for the society in which it lives.
In this sense, she joined forces with the Slovenian musician Magnifica on the track "Put", which was made especially for Dragan Bjelogrlić's film "Guardians of the Formula - Chain Reaction". At the end of last year, together with Zemlja Gruva, she released the single "O, klasje moje" based on the famous text of the poet Alekse Šantić, which is an integral part of the new series of the RTS school program "Lektizer".
Konstructa has been on the music scene for 20 years. She started in the band Mistake Mistake, and later stood out as the vocalist of the indie pop group Zemlja Gruva. Since 2019, he has been publishing songs under his own name, and he performs with his parent band Zemlja Groove.
