In the unique space of the Sava Center's Blue Hall, on October 9, 2025, a musical event will take place that promises an unforgettable experience: the performance of Karl Orff's masterpiece, the famous Carmina Burana. This monumental vocal-instrumental work, one of the most performed and recognizable in the history of art music, is known for its strong rhythmicity, dramatic contrasts and emotional power that captivates audiences around the world.
Under the baton of maestro Bojan Suđić, hundreds of top musicians will gather on stage to convey to the audience the power and splendor of the sound of this timeless work. Every bar of Carmina Burana, from the exciting opening "O Fortuna" to the finale, represents a strong combination of passion and artistic perfection.
The evening will be further enriched by two exceptional pieces of world and domestic music literature, an excerpt from the ballet The Legend of Ohrid by Stevan Hristić, one of the most important composers of Serbian art music, as well as the magnificent Slavonic March by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, a work that exudes power and emotion.
The audience can expect an intense musical experience that transcends the boundaries of time and space.
