Josipa Lisac on November 27 in the Sava Center
Legendary Josipa Lisac will hold a big Belgrade concert 27. November in Belgrade Sava Center, organized by the production company Long Play. The celebrated artist is returning to the Serbian capital after two great concerts last year, five months apart, and now she will climb the well-known stage for the first time after the reconstruction of the eminent hall. Her fans well remember her bravura performance at the Sava Center in 2020, when she celebrated her 70th birthday with the Belgrade audience.
Josipa, who in the previous two years dedicated concerts to marking five decades since the release of the anthology, the first album "Diary of Love" (1973), and on this occasion she will perform selected material from that release, as well as the most successful songs from all phases of her career. The Sava Center will once again echo her unique voice and songs that have marked many generations - "About one youth", "Where the Danube kisses the sky", "Danas sam luda", "Whim, whim, whim"... The specificity of her concerts is greatly contributed by the team of musicians with whom she has cultivated a long-term collaboration - Elvis Penava (guitar), Toni Starešinić (keyboards), Davor Črnigoj (bass guitar) and Borna Šercar (drums).
Every visit to Belgrade by an excellent artist causes a flood of emotions and an avalanche of memories. He constantly feels the affection of the local public, as he says, "through concerts, television shows, interviews."
"You also had great radio shows that propagated everything that was new. You pushed the avant-garde, the alternative," said Josip nostalgically this summer in front of the Belgrade audience, clearly showing how much every contact with her means to her even today.
