Belgrade and Sava Center are becoming the epicenter of the international MICE industry this year - from July 9 to 11, 2025, will be held in our area ICCA Mediterranean Chapter Annual Meeting, under the slogan:
"Mediterranean on the Move: Transforming Destinations Through the Events Industry".
This important regional gathering gathers leaders from the world of the congress and event industry from over 13 Mediterranean countries, among which are Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, Croatia, Slovenia and many others. During three days of intensive sessions, Belgrade will be the place for discussions about the future of destinations, sustainability, the impact of events on local communities and the strengthening of cooperation between key actors from the industry.
Sava Center, as one of the most modern congress centers in the region, proudly welcomes this event as confirmation of its position on the international map of business tourism and the congress market. Thanks to its superior technical equipment, flexible spaces and long-standing reputation, Sava Center is recognized as an ideal place for the meeting of excellent professionals.
During the program, participants will have the opportunity to hear speeches and participate in panels with leading experts, including:
- Dr. Senthil Gopinath, Director General of ICCA,
- Dimitris Ganitis, President of the ICCA Mediterranean Chapter and Director of the Thessaloniki Convention Bureau,
- Kristina Milinčić, general director of the Sava Center and host of the event,
- as well as representatives of the National Tourist Organization of Serbia, the Chamber of Commerce and the Expo 2027 team.
A special part of the program will be devoted to the transformation of destinations through events, the creation of lasting value for cities and local communities, as well as practical tools for improving regional cooperation. Participants will also be able to enjoy carefully designed networking moments, culinary experiences and specially organized tours through Belgrade and the Sava Center.
This hosting represents a significant step forward for Belgrade as a destination and a big step forward in positioning Serbia on the global stage of the event industry. In addition to promoting our capital, the ICCA Mediterranean Chapter Meeting 2025 will be an opportunity to demonstrate the strength of domestic capacities and the ability to organize events of the highest international standards.
