Sava Center is once again a center of knowledge: EAES gathered world experts

In the period from June 17 to 20, 2025, the Sava Center had the honor of hosting the 33rd International Congress of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES). In those days, Belgrade hosted the most significant European meeting in the field of minimally invasive surgery, which brought together leading experts, scientists and clinicians from all over the world.

Hundreds of participants from dozens of countries exchanged knowledge and experience through a carefully designed program that included lectures, panel discussions, interactive sessions and practical workshops. Special emphasis is placed on innovations in surgical technology, robotics and new approaches in laparoscopy and endoscopy. The congress carried a strong thematic message of "Energy!" - which reflected the enthusiasm, pace and transformation of contemporary surgical practice.

Spatial capacities and technical equipment of the Sava Center made it possible to realize such a complex international event at the highest level. Large conference rooms, modern equipment and adaptability of the space contributed to the smooth organization of all sessions and accompanying activities.

It is particularly significant that this congress was organized in cooperation with domestic experts and relevant institutions, among which the Serbian Association for Endoscopic Surgery stands out. Thus, in addition to being a place of knowledge exchange, the Sava Center also became a bridge between the domestic and international medical community.

The participants took with them new knowledge and strong impressions about hospitality and organization. Praise for the professionalism of the team and the atmosphere in which everything worked flawlessly came from almost all delegations. Through EAES 2025, Sava Center has once again confirmed its role as a leader when it comes to the organization of scientific and professional gatherings of an international format.

This event remains recorded as one of the most important medical gatherings held in Serbia, but also as another step towards positioning Belgrade on the world map of centers of knowledge and innovation.
