One of the greatest tenors of all time, José Carreras, is returning to Belgrade, this time to the Sava Center stage on September 16th as part of the Classico Festival, organized by Skymusic. After his last concert in Belgrade over 15 years ago, this masterful artist, globally renowned for his extraordinary vocal technique, deep emotional expression, and exceptional interpretation, and one of the most deserving for the popularization of classical music, will once again provide his Belgrade audience with an unforgettable concert. José Carreras made musical history with the “Three Tenors” concert in 1990 in Rome, at the opening of the FIFA World Cup, where he performed with Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti. This concert marked the transition of classical music from concert halls. Over a career spanning five and a half decades, he has recorded more than 50 complete operas and 40 classical and popular recitals, with his performances of Verdi and Puccini operas being particularly cherished by audiences.
