SAVA CENTER ACCESSIBILITY POLICY

Sava Center undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its facilities, services and content to all visitors, in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia, EU Directive 2019/882 on the accessibility of products and services (European Accessibility Act), the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, as well as the best practices of universal design.

Our goal is to provide equal access and a pleasant experience for all users, including people with disabilities, the elderly, parents with children, people with temporary injuries and other visitors with special needs.

1. Accessibility of facilities and infrastructure

  • Sava Center is equipped with ramps, elevators with auditory and visual signals and adapted sanitary facilities to facilitate the movement of people with reduced mobility.
  • There are marked parking zones for people with disabilities in the immediate vicinity of the main entrances, in accordance with the regulations on public accessibility.
  • The interior spaces are designed without architectural barriers, with clear markings on the floors and walls to orient the visually impaired.
  • Accessible areas within the center include: conference rooms, restaurants, restrooms, VIP areas and other key areas.
  • Evacuation routes are marked with adapted visual and auditory signals for people with sensory disabilities.

2. Accessibility of information and digital services

  • All important information about events, tickets and services is available on the website of the Sava Center in formats suitable for visually impaired people and
  • The Sava Center website is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 1), including the ability to adjust contrast, font size and text alternatives for images.
  • Upon request, materials in Braille, enlarged font or audio can be provided

3. Support for people with sensory impairments

  • If necessary, sign language interpreters can be provided during certain events, according to visitor requests.
  • Visual and audible emergency signals are available at key locations in the facility, and staff are trained to assist persons with disabilities during evacuation.

4. Staff and customer support

  • Sava Center continuously conducts training for staff in order to provide support to visitors with special needs and provide information about accessible facilities.
  • Educated assistants are available at the entrances and info desks who can help visitors with disabilities find the desired locations and use the available

5. Feedback and continuous improvement

  • Sava Center encourages visitors to submit suggestions and comments regarding accessibility in order to continue improving our services.

  • All suggestions are analyzed and used for regular improvement of our services in accordance with industry standards and legal regulations.
  • Sava Center regularly conducts accessibility audits in cooperation with organizations for the rights of persons with disabilities and competent state authorities
