Digital media proudly presents: THE LONGEST NIGHT OF MOVIES
Three films – three worlds – one night.
Sava Center, Belgrade: Sunday, December 21, 2025.
On the longest night of the year, Belgrade and Sava Center will host an unprecedented film event.
Three strong, original, completely different Serbian films will be shown in one evening, in the largest hall in the country, in a specific film marathon called “The Longest Night of Film”.
On December 21, the audience will have the opportunity to go through three completely different universes of contemporary Serbian cinematography: music and lyrics “Heavenly Themes”, through poetic art film “Excursions”, to satirical and bloody horror "Karmadon". What these three titles have in common is that they were filmed in the production of our film company Digimedia. The producers of Izlet and Karmadona are Predrag Buca Popović and Miloš Đukelić.
21:30 – KARMADON
Director: Aleksandar Radivojević
The evening ends with the most intense and provocative film of this revue: as our audience knows, "Karmadona” had its world premiere in September on Toronto Film Festival. In the past two months, Radivojević's directorial debut participated in eight more festivals across Europe, America and Australia, and we didn't have to wait long for the first awards: recognition for the best film and screenplay followed in Sydney, and for the best screenplay at the Brooklyn festival.
The story of "Karmadon" follows Jelena, a pregnant woman who is addressed by a mysterious commanding voice - and who is dragged into a brutal showdown with the corrupt, grotesque side of modern society. The film combines satire, action and horror motifs, creating a unique, subversive bloody vision rarely seen in regional cinema.
They play in "Karmadon" Jelena Djokić, Sergej Trifunović, Milutin Mima Karadžić, Milica Stefanović, Miloš Lolić, Miloš Timotijević, Petar Strugar, Branislav Jevtić, Jovo Maksić...
