Today, Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota are rightfully considered icons of world film music. At the concert dedicated to their work on November 7 in the Sava Center, musical hits accompanying famous film classics will be performed accompanied by a large orchestra conducted by Marcello Rota!
The concert program is focused on the most important stages of the two composers' careers, from cult songs of the sixties to melodies written for cult Hollywood achievements, as well as for Sergio Leone's films.
This concert will allow you not only to hear the works of unsurpassed masters live, but also to experience an emotional journey through the richness of Morricone and Rota's creativity, in which eternal themes intertwine with the inner world of famous composers. The creator of the project is Marcello Rota, a world-renowned conductor who often accompanies the world's most beloved tenor, Andrea Bocelli, on tours. The music from the films is performed by soloists who have gone down in the history of Italian and world cinema: Nello Salza (trumpet), Ludovico Fulci (piano), Suzana Rigaci (soprano). Under the impeccable leadership of maestro Morricone, they have held more than 500 concerts around the world and now they are finally coming to Belgrade!
