STEAM ROLLER CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF WORK WITH A BIG CONCERT ON MAY 16 IN THE SAVA CENTER
As part of a unique concert tour "50", a rock institution of the region and one of the longest-running bands in this region, Parni Valjak will celebrate the great jubilee of 50 years of work at the concert with the Belgrade audience May 16, 2026 at Sava Center.
"In the year in which we celebrate 50 years of activity, we will share with the audience through concerts everything we have created together over the decades, as well as our new chapter. We remember many wonderful Belgrade concerts and every performance in Belgrade has a special meaning for us. We are returning to the stage of the Sava Center, the place where we have shared some of the most beautiful emotions with you several times. The common denominator of all these years is love - love for music, love for the audience and the love that the audience gives us back. Love that is the core of what we do, remains a permanent thread that connects us, and your support is an eternal inspiration to us." - say the members of the band presenting the catchphrase of the current tour "Ljubav".
With an impressive production and carefully designed concert repertoire, which includes the rich musical heritage of their timeless classics, as well as new songs, the band started marking the jubilee half century of work on February 14, 2025 in Split, and during 2025 they held more than 20 concerts throughout the region, which included performances in the largest halls and arenas. A special and extremely emotional concert, both for the audience and for the band, was a spectacle in the sold-out Arena Zagreb, which was held on the day of the band's foundation, November 29.
Parni Valjak, founded in 1975 in Zagreb, has been synonymous for decades with outstanding rock, energetic performances and songs that have marked many generations. With more than 20 studio albums, they have created an impressive musical legacy, imbued with honesty, genuine emotion and uncompromising devotion to the audience, and timeless songs such as “Diary page”, "Autumn in me", "Come", "Extinguish me", "Flags" and many others are forever woven into the musical anthology of the region.
