After spectacular concerts celebrating fifty years of successful career, the giant of the local music scene, Miroslav Ilić, in synergy with Hype production, announces two more major concerts to be traditionally held on December 10th and 11th, 2024, starting at 8 PM in the Blue Hall of the Sava Center. The renovated Blue Hall, equipped with state-of-the-art stage technology and equipment, will enhance the musical experience for the audience.
The bard of folk music, Miroslav Ilić, began his illustrious career back in 1972, which has been consistently successful and has now amassed millions of copies and accolades. An equivalent of astronomical success, and an intriguing fact – at a time when The Beatles, the British rock and pop band, were at the peak of their popularity and sold over 500,000 records in one year, Miroslav surpassed them by double, selling 1.2 million records. Furthermore, it’s fascinating to note that Miroslav’s musical opus consists of over 247 recorded songs, a number unmatched by anyone in the world.
Some of his hits include: “Life is not just one woman”, “Something still makes you exceptional”, “I pour wine but I don’t drink wine”, “This night”, “The autumn of the seventies”, “They lie that time heals everything”, “I’ll break crystal glasses”, “You are quirky”, “Divine woman”, “I loved a girl from the city”, “Say hello to her” as well as many others.
Miroslav Ilić’s concerts on December 10th and 11th, 2024, starting at 8 PM in the Sava Center will be a true musical delight for fans of folk music who will have the opportunity to enjoy numerous songs considered evergreen hits in our region.
