This year, the “Abrašević” Cultural and Artistic Society from Belgrade – an emblem of
artistic expression and cultural preservation – brings a unique performance to the
stage: “Abrašević and Friends”.
Shaped like a theatrical journey, the event opens a doorway to the past, guiding us
through moments illuminated by the spotlight of memory and artistic vision.
“Abrašević and Friends” reveals a world of tradition, dance, and music – here every
step builds a bridge between the past and the present. Choreographies capture the
spirit of the people, their customs and emotions, interwoven with a modern
sensibility. The stage becomes a space where tradition lives not just through
remembrance, but through active creation, passed on to new generations. This is not simply a reconstruction of history – it is an artistic act where folk heritage merges with
contemporary stagecraft.
“Abrašević and Friends” reminds us that tradition is not only something we inherit,
