Ana Đurić Konstrakta, one of the biggest music stars from this region and our representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, has announced her first major solo concert in Belgrade. Along with the band Zemlja Gruva, she will be one of the first artists to perform in the newly renovated Blue Hall of the Sava Center, on Thursday, September 19th.
“I wanted to organize a concert in Belgrade right after Eurovision, but here I am, only two years late. You could say I was waiting for the Sava Center to open so we could put on the concert,” said Ana Đurić Konstrakta.
Konstrakta, a songwriter and musician, gained significant international attention with the song “In Corpore Sano,” which represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin. This song achieved tremendous global success, uniting people from various backgrounds in support of Konstrakta’s performance at this music competition, where she secured a high, fifth place. She was awarded the Marcel Bezanson Award, an official Eurovision recognition given for the best artistic performance, and she also won two other competition awards – for best lyrics and most innovative stage performance.
With the song “Novo, bolje” and her reappearance at the national Eurovision selection / PZE2024, Konstrakta established the concept of an episodic format on the Eurovision platform, indicating that she will release new episodes every two years.
Following the immense popularity of the hit “In Corpore Sano,” which was released as part of the Triptych, another notable single followed – “Evo, obećavam,” again in an omnibus form, divided into three parts. The Triptych and its themes attracted critical attention in our region, while the frequently quoted song “Evo, obećavam” made it clear that Konstrakta addresses current social issues through her music.
In her collaborations, Konstrakta continues to insist on having a theme that she recognizes as significant and relevant to the society she lives in.
In this context, she joined forces with Slovenian musician Magnifico on the song “Put,” which was made specifically for Dragan Bjelogrlić’s film “Guardians of the Formula – Chain Reaction.” At the end of last year, together with Zemlja Gruva, she released the single “O, klasje moje” based on the famous text by poet Aleksa Šantić, which is part of the new series by the RTS School Program editorial team “Lektizer.”
Konstrakta has been on the music scene for 20 years. She started in the band Mistake Mistake, and later stood out as the vocalist of the indie pop group Zemlja Gruva. Since 2019, she has been releasing songs under her own name and performs with her home band Zemlja Gruva.
Don’t miss the first major solo concert of the artist beloved by all generations!
